With our extensive industry knowledge, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to assist you in making educated decisions and to make your experience more seamless.

The Capital Fireplaces range is sold exclusively in the United Kingdom and distributed through a network of authorised retailers. These independent retailers can give you advice on all aspects of your fireplace requirements including installation queries, quotations, surveys, and technical information. Retailers are best placed to answer any questions you may have and to ensure you choose the right fire for your home.

Unfortunately, we do not currently supply to Ireland or Scotland.

Capital Fireplaces Ltd are strictly trade suppliers and are therefore unable to provide prices to anyone that is not an authorised retailer. Your retailer will be able to give you prices for your required products and the cost of installation.

Our network of authorised retailers will have selected products on display in their showrooms. If you wish to view a particular product, we recommend contacting the retailers in your local or preferred area to ask if they have the product on display. If your local retailers do not display the item in question, please call us on 01462 813138 to see if we can assist.

We do have a showroom at our head office in Henlow, Bedfordshire. Please email us here or call us on 01462 813138 to book an appointment with the Capital Fireplace Studio to ensure we have a member of staff available to assist you.

Can I set up a Trade account?2023-07-03T12:59:56+00:00

To be an authorised dealer of the Capital Fireplaces range, you are required to have a showroom. If you are interested in becoming an authorised dealer for Capital Fireplaces, please complete the application form on the Trade Account tab.

Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee that you will be granted a trade account. Once we have received your information, it will be passed to the Area Sales Manager for your region, and they will call you to discuss further.

We are open Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4pm and closed at weekends.

We do recommend speaking to your local retailer regarding installation information, pricing or technical information.

We want you to be satisfied with your Capital Fireplaces product. Any issues should be reported immediately to the retailer who sold you the product or the installer who fitted your appliance. Your contract of sale is with the retailer who sold you the product, but we will work with your retailer to resolve any issues and get the best possible outcome for you.

Certain products may require further information such as proof of purchase, proof of installation and proof of annual servicing. It is important that you keep all documentation pertaining to the installation, maintenance, and servicing of any appliances. Without this documentation, you may invalidate your warranty. If you have any concerns, please speak to your retailer.

Your local retailer should be able to provide you with a brochure and information regarding our range. Unfortunately, as we are a trade only supplier we are unable to post brochures to individuals. However, you can access digital copies of our brochures here.

Where possible, our brochures contain product information such as technical specification and dimensional drawings.

 

 

Can you provide me with fitting and installation information?2023-07-03T13:41:49+00:00

Due to being trade suppliers and not installers, we are unable to offer guidance or information pertaining to fitting or installation.

We strongly advise that you seek a professional person or company to carry out your installation. Our products are not designed to be DIY installations and they should always be professionally installed as there are no fitting instructions provided. There must be an airtight seal around all parts of the fireplace to ensure that there can be no leaking – failure to fit these products in strict accordance with the building regulations could result in putting inhabitants lives at risk. Therefore, it is important to choose the right individual, with the right experience for the job.
