Sirius 405 Highlight Nickle SE (smoke exempt) stove
The Capital Sirius stoves range offers 3 excellent options (essentially small, medium and large versions) the Sirius 405 stove, Sirius 545 stove and the Sirius 645 stove.
The Sirius 645 is the largest of the Stove family. It has twin glazed doors and a burning area that can take logs up to 20’’ long and it can output up to 12kW of controlled heat.
The Esse 100 and 125 SE woodburing stoves are a Clean burn range of stoves. This means that they are DEFRA approved and therefore meet the strict government regulations for burning wood in Smoke Controlled areas. The Esse 301 and 350 range of woodburning stoves are perfect for fitting into an existing fireplace suite where an existing gas or electric fire currently stands, and they come in a range of contemporary doors as well as a more traditional option.
All our woodburning stoves are made of Cast Iron and are constructed for durability and maximum heat and retain heat long after the fire has diminished. They are designed with large glass windows so that that all the flames are visible and are equipped with air wash systems to keep the glass clean.
Wood is a better fuel for a stove from a environmental aspect. The amount of carbon dioxide released into the air through burning is approximately the same as the tree absorbed during its growth which results in the term Carbon Neutral. Wood is also a renewable source as most is now supplied from managed woodlands.
All Capital & Esse stoves are CE approved to EN13240 and are suitable for use with wood, coal, coke, peat, anthracite or smokeless fuel.
All Capital & Esse freestanding stoves can be top or rear flue exit and incorporate an “air wash” system which helps to keep the large viewing glass clean during operation and improve efficiency.
All Capital & Esse stoves are manufactured from cast iron, therefore it is vital that appliances undergo a period of “burning in”, this involves small fires initially, gradually increasing in size with each firing. If this process is adhered to you should experience years of enjoyable, trouble free use.
