Stone Fireplaces
Beautiful Limestone fireplaces and Sandstone fireplace surrounds are crafted into stunning contemporary 41" wide fireplace suites through to traditional 60" wide fireplace mantels. The stone is over 60 million years old and made up of tiny organisms and wisps of plant life. No natural product such as this can present a completely consistent finish, so each fireplace is unique.
Marble Fireplaces
Capital's marble fireplaces are available in many of the elegant traditional fireplace designs from 54" to 60" wide fireplace mantels in three different marble materials. Liberty White marble is so named because it is off white in colour with very few visible veins and also because this type of exquisite marble also forms the base of The Statue of Liberty in New York. Carrara marble is a popular and sort after Italian marble which is classically light grey/blue with many veins and flecks. Travertine marble is a contemporary marble and is slightly textured with white, beige, cream and occasionally brown tones.
Cast Iron Fireplaces
Our cast iron fireplaces and steel fireplaces come in the form of fireplace inserts which are Victorian Arches, Georgian Hobs and Modern Backpanels.
